DBM's Dedicated Scheduling Team functions:

  • Onsite translation is available. If necessary, a language line 3-way call is facilitated
  • Locate a highly credentialed facility convenient to the member
  • Perform patient pre-screen
  • Outline test preparation
  • Offer directions to the facility
  • Verify benefits
  • Obtains copy of benefits card and script
  • Optional pre-certification service available
  • Scheduling team conferences patient in with the facility to schedule a convenient time for the procedure
  • The treating physician is notified of the date/time/place of the procedure
  • A reminder call is made to the employee the night before the procedure
  • Follow-up Call to facility to ensure scan was completed
  • DBM obtains the medical report and forwards it to the treating physician
